Ivan is seriously thinking of a different career because this constant undercover work is really killing him. Though Ivan is under investigation for his part in the shooting, his boss sends him on an off-the-books undercover operation to close the case. The cute, young, beautifull, puppy MC was so insecure and so “adorable” and sadly TSTL, that I only wanted him gone for most of xover second part of the book.

Cover Up (Toronto Tales, #2) by K.C. Burn

When Ivan comes across clear evidence of Parker’s criminal involvement, he has to choose: At the same time, I loved that Ivan and Parker connected so well from the beginning and really liked the unexpected jealousy they both had.

The bad guy is obvious from the start, but neither of the 2 MCs can see it. I totally fell in love with Parker. I like K C Burn and will covee to read her stories – every writer has a less than stellar piece of work, but I will only listen if someone else is narrating. Ivan was supposedly a smart cop who let himself be railroaded into an assignment that a rookie would have coved.

It had some ok moments, but overall it was too often annoying. March 4, – Posted by Gerry B. Due to Amazon’s policy of arbitrarily deleting reviews without notice, I do not post reviews to Amazon.

KC Burn Week Review: Cover Up | The Blogger Girls

Inutile dirvi che dal seguito mi aspettavo molto: So… as much as I love this series, the author and the narrator — I find myself unbelievably giving this only a 3 of 5 stars. In theory, I understand the covwr the author was trying to use, but I hope to high heaven that no law enforcement officer or agency ever behaves this way.

He was caught snooping, did a crappy job searching Parker’s room left everything in different places, you idiot!

Book Two Detective Ivan Bekker has hit rock bottom.

By day, I edit web content and at night I neglect my supportive, understanding hubby and needy cat to write covrr about men loving men in the past, present and future. Parker was adorable, but way too nice for Ivan and for his own friend, Evan. Good follow up to Cop Out. While the whole situation, does not sit well with Ivan, he nonetheless complies.

Cover Up: Toronto Tales, Book 2 (Unabridged)

Not nearly as good as the first in the series. The romance was ok at best, had a insta-love feel to it, altough it wasn’t exactly, and there was no heat whatsoever. My only little niggles with this k.c.bkrn that it was easy to figure out who the villain was very early on so it made the story just a k.c.budn predictable, although K.x.burn still enjoyed watching Ivan finally catch k.c.bugn to who was at the center of it all.

Ivan is so enamored with Parker that he cannot see what is right in front of him. The k.cc.burn assignment premise was not great. Jan 24, Macky rated it really liked it. Nonetheless, Bekker finds himself becoming emotionally involved with his suspect, and more intent on coveer him from the criminal element he is drifting toward than making an arrest.

Rick also helps in a small way he’s a great character, like him a lot and towards the end of the book, Davy and Ian Kurt’s gay brother also make an appearance.

Toronto Tales 3 books. Hi Rock Thanks for the feedback, and the kind words. Ivan thinks Parker is “taken” so runs. Or, get it for Kobo Super Points! Though this was a slow-burn romance my favorite kind! If Apple Books doesn’t open, click the Books app in your Dock.

This book dragged and dragged and even though I liked the chemistry between Parker and Ivan, this story got on my last nerve. Detective Ivan Bekker has hit rock bottom. This was an easy, sweet read with just enough insecurity and angst to get t 4. I’m enjoying these stories.

I definitely got a lump in my throat!

It was great to get another glimpse at Rick and I’m looking forward to his story. But I love his voice, it’s like honey, just so sweet and smooth. I saw no opportunity on the site to comment there, but thought you might be able to point out to them their, um, error. Off-balance and without backup, Ivan finds himself playing a recent divorce and becoming Parker Wakefield’s roommate.

In this case, I think he carries this and was the source of most of my enjoyment in the story. And it started out great, I was really excited. Notify me of new posts via k.c.bunr.

I almost felt bad for the guy. Fill in your details below or click an icon to log in: This was an easy, sweet read with just enough insecurity and angst to get to you without it being overly emotional.
