The force-feeding of his idea of Christianity expztriates better after the first few chapters but it returned frequently throughout the book. I kept trying to get into this book. Between the accent, the odd circumstances, and unfamiliar surroundings, I’m not sure how to rate this treatise.

Expatriates fills the niche I enjoy reading, it provides both entertainment and a small weslye of knowledge mixed in. Rawles is a former U. Out of the Dark by David Weber comes to mind. Okay, this book is a turbulent mix of emotions for me. Overall, I enjoyed this novel and will be looking forward to reading more about the “Crunch” and all the scary things that we think will happen to our global economy expqtriates the course that it’s headed. While there were plenty of mentions of the characters’ faith and politics, those were done in a way more relevant to the story and less offensively to those who might disagree with those points of view.
