Some relationship development would have been great on that end. It’s hundreds of pages of everybody walking all over the main character and her letting them. I love ms Elborg’s books, but this one kind of put me on the fence.

But even with my slight understanding of why Will would run full throttle toward Addie and then just as quickly tbing up and run in the opposite direction, I couldn’t bring myself to like him. You’ll be pleased to know if you’ve read my status updates that the football game turned out ridiculously fine.
At no time did I feel bad for Will and his emotional turmoil. And he’s torn between what he wants to do and what he baarbara like is the “right thing”. This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers. That’s if I take a negative perspective. I agree that there should have been more about Ed, he didn’t feature enough for me, and by the time he did I was so caught up in what an idiot his brother was I failed to appreciate anything.
Vulcanology scorched her feet. I’m probably going to have to read this book again to see how it all developed. Ed is the first to notice this tall, clumsy and absolutely lovely woman.

She was funny at times and there were even moments I could relate to her. Our heroine here is in this impossible situations and I’m not even sure how she navigated her way out of it. I liked it but I didn’t love it. It wasn’t; it was in the genre misery. And the most bizarre thing is that the author chose to finish the book with happy, lovey-dovey sex. I AM dissapointed of the journey, there was almost none of it. He had been hurt, manipulated and let down by his ex so many times, that his perception of reality was severely distorted.

And I am so glad Addie ended up with the right one: This is one of the books i have ever cried so much I actually expected a menage when I first started the book, but thank god that didn’t happen, because these three would have never worked that out. I can’t wait to re-read book 2 again. Poor Ed, if you went by sheer page time and the time he thlng given to build a relationship with Addie, he shouldn’t have stood a chance. I also hate that she was everyone’s puppy to kick around.

The end was truly amazing and exactly like I wanted it. It was good and unexpected.
