It’s a fun read and well written allowing you cookboo enter into the life and times from a very interesting age, plus the dishes sound delicious.
Toklas Cook Book contains the full text of the previous editions with the bonus of recently unearthed recipes which have never before been published in book form. This is quite possibly my favorite cookbook.

Although Toklas later said that this recipe was given to her by her friend Brion Gysinher name is forever linked with marijuana brownies due to its great success. This is not the hard-cover, ergo no introduction by MFK Fisher. It seems that most things that moved were eaten.
